COURSE CURRICULUM
BASIC TRAINING:
Total Duration: 3-6 months, depending on starting level.
Basic training is designed to improve the general physical condition of the body: stamina, cardiovascular function, muscular strength, and flexibility. This is all preparation for the more technical exercises in Wudang Wushu and Tai Chi. It is the first stage for preparing mind and body to practice kung fu.
Who its for: Required for anyone who wants to take Wudang Wushu class. Recommended for healthy individuals up to age 35 (female) and 45 (male) who want to do Tai Chi. Good for anyone who wants to improve their general body condition or health.
Content: Interval training, stretching, resistance training, jumps, joint mobility training (mostly hips and shoulders), 5 basic kung fu stances an kicks.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Expected results: Improvement of general physical condition, adaptation to regular training. Best results with 2-3 classes a week.
