Are you looking for a creative and fun way for your children to spend their after-school hours? Look no further than my After-School Film Class!
My after-school film class is designed to engage children’s imaginations and introduce them to the world of filmmaking in a fun and relaxed environment.
During the program, kids will learn the basics of film production, from scriptwriting to editing, and will have the opportunity to create their own short films.
For the first 2 weeks each child will write a short age appropriate script for a 1-3 minute short film, writing prompts will also be included. Week 1 will be writing drafts and week 2 will be final drafts. For the next 5 weeks we will film every child’s film. On the last week we will have a film festival where we all sit and watch the movies that we made!
By the end, the children will have a completed short film to share with family and friends.
They will also have gained an appreciation for the art of filmmaking and a better understanding of the production process.
