Speak Russian fluently!

This program is intended for those who are already quite good in Russian.

Your Russian is good. You understand Russian speech and participate in Russian conversations and discussions.

You read newspapers, Internet sites and books in Russian, you watch movies and TV shows, but … You cannot speak fluently and confidently with native Russian speakers.

You like Russian literature and you read books in the original, but … sometimes you cannot understand the meaning of some sentences or author’s ideas.

You understand the characters’ speech in the films, but you cannot understand some of the jokes, dialogs or ideas of the director.

You like public speaking, but it’s still difficult to prepare a speech in Russian.

Do these difficulties prevent you from enjoying communication in Russian?

What will we do in the class?

•  discuss topics that interest you;
• listen to Russian speech (television programs, news, films, talk shows, etc.) and perceive it by ear;
• read and discuss texts in Russian (news, articles from newspapers and magazines, Internet sites, stories of Russian writers);
• correct and improve your pronunciation;
• repeat the most important and complex topics of Russian grammar (cases, types of verbs, verbs of movements, adjectives and nouns with prefixes; participles and adverbs, etc.);
• organize your knowledge of the use of words with prefixes and suffixes.
