I go by the name of Mikerson Eliassaint.
I graduated from Medgar Evers college with a
bachelor’s degree in science, biology.
I am a math and science teacher for the NYCDOE and I am currently working toward my master degree in education.
I am an enthusiastic teacher, excellent in providing sciences and mathematics assistance to
students for over 10 years. Successful in interacting with parents, students and co-workers in a
friendly and professional manner. Expert-level knowledge and talent with good organization and
time management skills. Dedicated and detail-oriented to help students succeed academically.

ABOUT MY COURSES
I am an experienced math/science teacher for over 10 years.
I have worked with middle school
students( ages 10-13), high school students (ages 14-18), and college students.
In order to have great understanding, there must be great communication between the student and the
teacher. I will provide great lesson plans to meet the goals identified in students” individualized
study plans.
I will administer feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to
encourage and build confidence. It makes me feel great when I reach my goal with the kids.
I like to explore different avenues of learning with students to help each prepare for later
educational environments. It’s also important to assess student progress with course material
through routine quizzes and examinations.
