Lyubov - Victoria Shchybchyk

Piano & Vocal Teacher 

     

  As a singer – made her American debut with the New Rochelle Opera performing the title role of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly.

She has performed leading roles in numerous operas, among these where Rachmaninoff’s Aleko, Verdi’s Rigoletto, Aida and la Traviata, Bortniansky’s Alcid, Tschaikowsky’s Eugene Onegin and Iolanta, Mozart’s The Impressario etc… She is widely acclaimed throughout Ukraine with her live Radio and TV performances with contemporary composers from several countries including a performance of Gluck, Verdi, Bach – Gounod in a documentary “Ave Maria”

She performed many concerts and openers in Poland, Slovenia, hungry, Austria and America.. Lyuba also performing crossover genre, like Gershwin Jerome Kern and others…

Outside of her musical activities Ms. Shchybchyk was employed as a vocal therapist in the otolaryngology department of the national research institute in Kiev. Several of her studies were published in the medical journals.

She was honored with the national Hulak- Artemovsky Award for her contributions to the community as well for her musical accomplishments. Lyubov Victória participated in the number of international competitions like Belveder international, Gerda Lissener, Rockaway music and arts and others where she was awarded with grand prizes and diplomas.
